It is an<strong> intramuscular (IM) injection<\/strong> that allows the body to create an immunological memory whereby, in case of contact with foreign microorganisms, the body is able to respond and defend itself much more quickly and effectively. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>administration of the meningococcal B<\/strong> vaccine makes it possible to prevent the formation of quite serious and invasive diseases, including meningitis. <\/p>\n\n<p>At the Euromedica Assistance center it is possible to undergo administration of the meningococcal B vaccine; the center also provides the supply of the drug, the cost of which is included in the cost of the service.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>number of doses<\/strong> of meningococcal B vaccine varies according to the age of the patient being administered.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Following the administration of a vaccine, it is practice to wait 15 minutes before leaving the facility where the vaccine was administered so as to check for allergic reactions.  <\/p>\n\n<p>It is not possible to undergo vaccine administration if the patient, at the time of administration, has even a partially compromised clinical picture.  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vaccine administration is an outpatient service that can be performed by a physician.
