It is an<strong> intramuscular (IM) injection<\/strong> where the drug is the vaccine that is used to stimulate the immune system to produce microorganisms that enable it to fight the various viruses that can affect the body&#8217;s functions. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>administration of a vaccine<\/strong> thus allows the body to create an immunological memory whereby, in the event of contact with foreign microorganisms, the body is able to respond and defend itself much more quickly and effectively. <\/p>\n\n<p>Following the administration of a vaccine, it is practice to wait 15 minutes before leaving the facility where the vaccine was administered so as to check for allergic reactions.  <\/p>\n\n<p>At the Euromedica Assistance center, it is possible to undergo the administration of various vaccines; the center also provides for the eventual procurement of the drug, the cost of which will be added to the cost of administration.  <\/p>\n\n<p>It is not possible to undergo vaccine administration if the patient, at the time of administration, has even a partially compromised clinical picture.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vaccine administration is an outpatient service that can be performed by a physician.
