In fact, <strong>manual<\/strong> <strong>lymphatic drainage<\/strong> speeds up the immune response, promotes the formation and spread of antibodies in the body, and acts on stress through the release of endorphins following treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This type of<strong> manual lymphatic drainage<\/strong> is a specific treatment for patients who have undergone oncological or orthopedic surgery as it is a manual lymphatic drainage that is performed on <strong>lymphedema<\/strong> (lymphatic accumulation). It is also recommended for patients with <em>algodystrophy<\/em> or <em>rheumatologic diseases<\/em>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After performing manual lymphatic drainage, the physical therapist may decide to complement the treatment with a special <strong>bandage (elastocompression bandage) <\/strong>used to maintain and optimize the effects of manual lymphatic drainage.
