At the end of the urinary process, the <strong>uroflowmeter <\/strong>issues a report containing <em>the amount of urine emitted in the unit of time, the urination time, the maximum flow, and the average flow, <\/em>all expressed<em> <\/em>in ml\/s.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Urofluxometry is indicated if any dysfunction related to micturition is detected in the patient, for example in case of urinary incontinence, feeling of incomplete bladder emptying or weak jet.  <\/p>\n\n<p>No special preparation is required but the patient should drink about <strong>half a liter of water two hours before<\/strong> undergoing <strong>uroflowmetry<\/strong>. This is an examination in which the emotional sphere plays a very important role, so it is essential that the patient feel comfortable in a confidential environment.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The examination takes about 15 minutes, and the outcome of uroflowmetry allows for the diagnosis of any organic and functional disorders such as utretria, prostatitis, cystitis, and vaginitis.  <br\/><br\/>Urofluxometry is a <strong>repeatable<\/strong> examination whenever there is a need and is used to search for dysfunctional problems in both women and men.  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uroflowmetry is a noninvasive and painless examination that can be performed in an outpatient setting and is used to analyze urine flow during urination (the set of physiological acts that allow urine production).
