Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1985 at the University of Milan, he then obtained a specialization in Physiology and Diseases of the Respiratory System in 1990 at the University of Pavia. In addition to a professorship at the Master for Specializing in Geriatrics at the University of Pavia, his career led him to be Medical Director at the Pio Albergo Trivulzio and then Health Director of the San Felice – Orpea RSA.
