Thus, the orthopedic examination is indicated when the patient’s musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, and joints) is partially or totally compromised in both its structural and functional parts.
The orthopedic examination consists of an initial medical consultation after which the Orthopedist may request first-level (ultrasound) or second-level (CT scan, MRI with and without contrast, etc.) diagnostic imaging tests.
