A proctological examination is indicated for conditions such as hemorrhoids, perianal fistulas, anal fissures, colitis, diverticula, chron’s disease, benign and malignant tumors of the rectum and anus. Just as it is necessary to book a proctological examination for the evacuation disorders, constipation (or constipation), prolapse of the rectum, and incontinence.
A proctological examination with anoscopy involves the use of an anoscope, or a medical instrument that, when introduced into the patient’s anal canal, allows the proctologist to visualize the anorectal mucosa.
Anoscopy is performed by the proctologist to diagnose any anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids, conditions that cause anal bleeding, and anal fissures.
